Black box in your Navigation device

Blogger Kevin Kang of asia.cnet.com suggests that soon Korean navigation devices will be the most advanced and multifuctional in the world. One feature Kang describes is bound to rise some eyebrows in the U.S. -- it's a 'black box' feature that would record the vehicle's actions much like an aircraft black box would.

Kang says the blackbox feature is already popular to include as a feature on public transit vehicles and taxis as a protection against arguments over the causes of crashes.

The device, says Kang, will record by camera and voice and will store about 30 minutes of data. This can be valuable, he suggests, in protecting drivers against "any unwanted fights caused by car accidents." End of Article
