Aggressive Driving Issues ConferenceEnter the Conference
Read a welcoming message from the Minister of Transportation

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), in Canada, in cooperation with the U.S. Transportation Research Board, and in partnership with Drivers.com, has brought together road safety experts from around the world. The nature and causes of aggressive driving, as well as possible solutions, will be debated.

If you are a road safety professional, policy maker, or a layperson interested in safe driving, this web conference will be of interest to you. Research papers, transcripts of discussions, expert analyses and resources will be available in one location and will greatly enhance our collective knowledge of aggressive driving.

Welcome to the first Global Web Conference on Aggressive Driving Issues

Aggressive driving, including speeding, tailgating, and improper lane changing, is a safety issue for drivers worldwide. Yet we know very little about the causes of this problem. Why do people drive aggressively? Who is likely to do this, and under what circumstances? How do we effectively combat aggressive driving?

The Conference has now ended. However, you are welcome to read the 7 conference papers and the discussions that took place throughout the conference.

For further information and discussion of this issue, you may also leave the conference site and visit the Behavior section of Drivers.com, where aggressive driving and road rage topics are prominent.
